Pulled from Women’s Health Olympian Workout!
As specified on Sunday, I’m planning to an upper body routine along with some abdominals (a few planks, exercise ball crunches, and perhaps some toe-tucks if my hip flexors are feeling up to it).
I’m a big fan of incline push-ups since I haven’t mastered the full push-up. In fact, I do incline push-ups on my kitchen counter when I’m cooking! I like to increase the intensity by ‘jumping’ off the counter after my chest touches, to get real work out of my pecs.
Happy working out!
I’m pretty lucky that most yogurt doesn’t bother my stomach even though I’m decently lactose intolerant, but I always like to try yogurts without milk products.
The vanilla yogurt was… interesting. Unsure if I got a funky cup or what, but when I opened the yogurt, it was a solid jello-like block. I flipped it into a bowl and mashed it up with a spoon, and eventually it got to yogurt texture, and tasted delicious.
I’m a big fan of SO Delicious Coconut Milk, and this yogurt tastes the same: pleasantly sweet and light. It wasn’t too “vanilla-y,” which I like.
I’ve always tried the blueberry and the raspberry, which were not the strange “jello” texture that the vanilla had been. Makes me suspect I had a fluke with the vanilla’s texture.
I also sampled the SO Delicious Coconut Ice Cream (in vanilla and chocolate) while prowling about Whole Foods, and it was to die for.
Verdict: it’s a win!
